The NTRL Node Solution Deep Dive
NTRL Node Architecture: The Backbone of In-Building Signal
At the core of NTRL’s solution is a hybrid Distributed Antenna System (DAS), engineered to support multi-operator, multi-band, and multi-technology mobile connectivity.
Our Neutral Host Model enables multiple Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to share a single high-performance DAS network, ensuring optimal signal distribution without infrastructure duplication.
SIGNAL DISTRIBUTION
Adaptive DAS architecture that optimizes indoor coverage for multi-operator use.
DATA PROCESSING
Real-time diagnostics and automated network adjustments via GENESIS DMS3000.
SYSTEM MONITORING
24/7 NOC-driven fault detection and performance tracking.
INFRUSTRUCTURE CONTROL
Neutral host framework ensuring MNO interoperability without duplication.
SCALABILITY
Modular deployment for capacity expansion and 5G integration.
EFFICIENCY
Lower latency, reduced interference, and enhanced spectral efficiency.
The system integrates SOLiD GENESIS DAS technology, which captures and amplifies mobile signals from MNO base stations and redistributes them across a building via a fiber-fed, modular network of High-Power and Medium-Power Radio Nodes (HRNs/MRNs). Each node converts digital signals back into RF for wireless transmission, ensuring consistent coverage and capacity at every point.
How we enable the NTRL Node Solution
Signal Integration – MNOs provide the signal source (e.g., base stations), which is connected to the SOLiD GENESIS DAS head-end.
Signal Conversion & Distribution – The head-end converts the signal and transmits it via fiber to High-Power (HRN) and Medium-Power (MRN) Radio Nodes.
Antenna Transmission – HRNs/MRNs reconvert the signal into RF for mobile device access across multiple frequency bands (900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz).
Real-Time Monitoring & Adjustments – The GENESIS DMS3000 system manages alarms, diagnostics, and network control, while RNS DAS TAG tracks passive DAS components.
Ongoing Performance Management – The 24/7 NOC monitors performance, faults, and optimizes network parameters for multi-operator consistency.
WHY NTRL TECH?
NTRL’s DAS is built for long-term adaptability, supporting multi-operator access across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G. The modular system allows for bandwidth expansion and additional frequency support without major infrastructure overhauls.
The GENESIS DMS3000 system continuously monitors DAS performance, providing alarm reporting, diagnostics, and remote system control. The RNS DAS TAG tracks passive infrastructure beyond active DAS remotes, ensuring full-spectrum visibility.
By operating on a neutral host model, NTRL removes infrastructure redundancy, reducing CAPEX burdens for landlords and MNOs. With 24/7 NOC monitoring and proactive maintenance, operational costs are minimized while network uptime and service quality are maximised.
